The charges were dropped against USC Recruit O.J. Mayo, who had been cited for marijuana possession in Huntington, West Virginia, last week after police found a small amount of marijuana inside a car with 3 other passengers. At the time, nobody would claim the drugs belonged to them but 2 of the passengers have now claimed responsibility and thus the charges were dropped.
In other OJ Mayo news, it looks like he will be coming to Los Angeles early as Tim Floyd was quoted saying he expects Mayo at USC in June, taking a summer course before the fall semester.
